It's been a long day really.
The hours of drive back to Cyber, the hours of revision after that...
and at the end of the day...when everything was revealed.
It wasn't easy to overcome the overwhelming sadness.
A few tears did came out but on the chat I was still typing smileys.
Yeah, the truth hurts. But I've been able to handle it better...all thanks to that book.
3 hours ago, I was walking under the cloudy skies towards my car to get something and at the same time I just spend some time praying in my heart as I go. The prayer of thanksgiving for journey mercies earlier today, for the upcoming exams, bla bla bla...and one item which I find it hard to utter out but I did it anyways. I prayed for the both of them.
And you're probably like "Whattheheck!? You lost her already and you still prayed for them?"
A portion of 1 Cor 13 says "Love does not envy". and I remember back in 2009 when a brother shared on this...He said:
"It does not envy, this means if you love somebody,
no matter how it turns out to be, you wish the best for him or her"
(Probably the 3rd time I'm quoting this in my blog posts but this has a great impact on me.)
Well, yeah. You wished the best for that person.
I might not have experience all that lovey dovey kind of love,
but the Lord has given me an opportunity to show a different kind of love altogether.
And I thank the Lord for that. :)
Well plus side of the day, heard The Fray's new songs from their new album.
Especially loveeeeee "Be Still". Perfect for the time when I need some comfort :)
